Please be aware of White Pages!

I was contacted by Zandile, she said that she is from Telkom and asked that we update our company's details for the White Pages. She will send us their form via email. I distinctly told her that we do not wish to subcribe to any of their services. I was told that there is no cost involved, it us only for us to update our details.

Two days late I received their form. On there (in big writing it says: Free Service (SEO- to be listed on google). Just below that there was a lot of paragraphs, so small you could hardly read it. I had to zoom in. To my utter shock and disbelief it stated there that they are not affiliated with Telkom or Trudon. This is a 12 month contract costing R9450,00 which will be renewed annually unless cancelled in writing.

I went onto the internet and googled this company. This is what I read:

In effect, they must both pay a fine of R10,000 by the end of June".
