White Pages Directory

Our company received an email from White Pages addressed not to me, as COO, but to a junior member of staff. She believed it was from Telkom. She completed the form with incorrect information and returned it to White Pages. We have been inundated with emails and phone calls from an extremely rude lady who is insisting we pay her R9999.00 for an entry into the Directory. One of the many calls was put through to me. My goodness I have never spoken to such a rude, beligerent person in my entire business career. I asked her what the directory was, could I see a proof of what would be entered. I told her there was no way that I was paying and that I was aware she and her colleagues were running a ****. The rude ladsy said I should have read the Terms and Conditions in the small print at the bottom of the form. I told her that I would have needed a huge magnifying glass to have read it. She didn't like that. She told me that I should be "very scared" because she was now going to be handing me over to their lawyers. She screamed and shouted, never letting me get a word in at all. I told her I was quaking in my boots and to go ahead and do whatever she thought she could do legally. I have not heard from her since. Please be aware that this is a TOTAL **** and don't enter into dialogue with these people. Block the emails.
