White Pages claiming to be telkom ****

I received a phone call to update our Telkom Details on the 14th of April, he advised he sent an email. At the time I was busy and said I will look at it when I have time. This guy kept on phoning. The email came from a telkomsa.net email address so this did not look funny. I then printed the document which states Free very big on the form. I filled and send it back. A month later I received a phone call from a lady asking if I received I bill. Which I rep**** to what is the bill for, where did it come from. She then advised telkom directory. So I responded and said this is a free service according to me and then she said that I should go back and read the terms and conditions. Which I then did and then also apologized and ask that we can please be removed from the service. And that I want to cancel the membership. I also questioned why the guy that phoned did not explain the cost involved and what the product is all about. She then advised that they are not telesales. I then sent an email to have my side of the story on email and she kept referring to the email with the invoice which I to date never received. They then did I must pay the cancelation of 50% which I also did not agree to pay. So I asked if they can please put me through to a manager. She advised she is the manager. Since then I have been on Google looking for my listing as well as to see if I can find another contact person, I did not find my listing nor a contact number. I did find a support email which I then emailed but the response I get is this funny emails with links that you have to follow.

Yesterday the lady phoned me again and I tried to explain myself and the situation. Asking again that she puts me through to more senior person then her. However I received an email giving me one day to pay or they will hand me over.

I again was looking for a contact or someone to phone to get me out of this mess and harassment so I saw all the bad reviews and decided to add mine.

Watch out for this ****. It is just sad that with the state that most people and businesses found themselves in in this pandemic that you still get people who will **** you.
