In November 2018 I received a call from a woman who i thought was from the Telkom white pages telephone directory. I was made to believe that she wanted me to up date my contact details for the phone book. She emailed me a form and asked me to complete it, which i did. I asked her if there was a charge and she said no. She called me a few times pressuring me to complete the form, which i did without reading the fine print. A few months later I was notified that i had not paid the account for R8,340. I was obviously very surprised as i had not expected to be charged for some thing , which i thought was included in my telkom subscriptions. Since that demand for payment i have been harassed for months on end. I receive now daily emails, calls and final demands. The people behind this **** are evil con artists that must be stopped. They practice psychological torture and hope that you will settle just to get rid of them. I kindly call on the SA law enforcement authorities and financial crimes department to stop this ******ion and ******* conduct.
