TELEPHONE DIRECTORY 2019 HOAX FROM WHITELISTINGS

WE were duped by a lady named Happiness from white listings who sent an email with a letterhead TELEPHONE DIRECTORY(2019) & made it seem they are part of Yellowpages/Telkom Telephone Directory services just on the digital side in the directory,our former colleague who received this call and the form that was emailed with all our info already pre-typed,was just meant to be signed ,stamped and sent back to them,which had a lot of fine print ,but as explained that its part of the directory as clearly written on the top of the form we saw no problem to be part of the Telephone directory,the emails were from Telkomsa as well as it has been a while since we received the big book from Telkom.Months later only to be sent a hefty invoice from the credit bureau of R10,556.00 & that we have not paid R8,340.00 which we had no idea what that was all about because we were not aware we were even listed.We are a small business,we have facebook accounts ,business cards and we deal mostly with word of mouth as we grow ,where will we even get R10,556.00 to pay.These whitelisting people tele-marketed a vulnerable small business & duped us with a Telephone directory title,Telkomsa email address & we felt by paying our telephone bills we were covered yet only to learn now from their lawyers that its a separate business entity and they are neither the Telephone directory nor belong to Telkom.Now we are stuck with LISAJ from credit bureau listings agents calling daily to ask about payments that we cannot afford nor had we been sent emails warning us of final payments or payment plans.They are out to con ,dupe and spoil the names of small businesses because they are stuck with huge bills that they cannot cover,our own expenses do not get to R10k how are we to pay for just having a telephone number on listings R10k??Such businesses as whitelistings make it difficult for small business to prosper and leave a sour taste of how deceptive they are.Clearly they are also making people not trust anything from Telkom(sa) emails or telephone directory because of the implications hereafter.we are truly stuck with a bill that we can't pay,it means cutting employees pay to try and cover the bill because our expenses monthly are a little at R2500.00 how do we pay R10k??Would it be fair to take bread from someones table to cover the misinformation these guys sell to people?Why dont they sell the truth and if we can manage we buy?I will definitely tell who care to listen never to trust such businesses.
