In the beginning of the year, late beginning, we got a call from a gentleman from whitepages, and stated that our directory be updated, we were extremely busy in the shop and did not have time for these sort of calls and ignored them.

Once we moved shops in July of 2018 things calmed down and we got more calls. Finally in July of this year we said send the form for us to update the details - all at no costs according to them telepathically. Forms were sent and filled in. A month later, we got an invoice for R9500.00, after the consultant stated its free, but according to accounts that piece of paper is a 'contract' where in the SMALLEST of small print it states you are liable to pay the amount of R9500.00, so this is confusing and have no leg to stand on because its he said she said story. I requested they send me the call center recording..... they don't record those calls .... only the accounts calls.... surely this is not right????

We requested a cancellation only to be informed that this costs R4500.00. Its false advertising and ******* surely???? No manager is available t speak with, only an accounts lady demanding money be paid over immediately.

Can this not be reported? Does this not violate the Fais act?? or some sort of act as it is *******? Imagine I ran my business like that!
