This lady phoned me a few weeks ago to tell me that they wanted to update our details, sent me a form to fill out and then hounded me to get the form back. I eventually signed and sent it back just to get them off my back. A few days later I received an invoice for R6 000 they are now phoning up to 3 times a day to get me to confirm when I will be making payment. There was no indication in the original phone call that indicated that there is a cost involved, only that they wanted to update our details for the white pages. When I realised what had happened I tried to cancel it and have subsequently been informed that we cannot cancel the contract for the next 12 months, and we are liable to pay the amount indicated. They then told me that the due dates are the 24th of the month, when drawing attention to the email sent on Monday stating the 15th I was informed that the 15th has already passed that’s why it is now the 24th. This is highly suspect as how can a payment date change as such. There is also no VAT charged??

After listening to the CAPE TALK recording about these ****s this seems very much along the same lines.
