Duped by white listings

I work for a doctor's rooms as a receptionist. A month ago we received an email at the top it says TELEPHONE DIRECTORY 2019. It said also says kindly ensure the information requested is filled in correctly. I believed it to be for the telephone directories so I updated the form and at the bottom they requested my name and ID no I was very gullible and put it on the form. There was a lot of fine print but I am 55 and even with my readers I was unable to read it. I unknowingly signed a contract. A month later I received an account for the practice of R8340. When I phoned these people and told them we had not signed a contract they insisted we had and now owe the above amount. I told them to cancel immediately they then said cancellation fees are R3753. I cannot afford to pay this amount and feel we have been duped as we received no contract no account until a month later now they tell me we had 5 days to cancel as is written on the contract, the more I told the women I was unable to read the contract and was unaware that I was signing a conract she just wont listen and insists I owe the cancellation fee. This document that was sent has no vat no no company and no registration no. What am I to do. The woman who apparently is the manager is Alexis Patent and her ********** 683
