BE CAREFUL OF THESE COMPANIES

These people pretended to be the white pages, we signed the contract not reading the fine print of it.(I know stupid, right?) after a long and lengthy calling every second day, ITC Summons was brought into the mix. Still we did not know about the **** that they were running. We paid them the amount that was outstanding and with the proof of payment we requested that the contract is to be cancelled. Over and done with, right? WRONG Exactly a year later we received an email with another amount to be paid. We started to do some research and found that they were ********. I asked them what happened to the fact that we paid and cancelled? No was the answer they did not issue a cancelation letter so it was never cancelled. They are now threatening to black list our company because of non payment. This is absolutely ridiculous that these people are not stopped. What can be done?
