Whirlpool upright fridge

We purchased a fridge from Dion wired in June2014. At the beginning of Jan2016 I lodged complaint about problem with fridge. Technician was sent out but he discovered a different problem. Shortly after the fridge started making popping sounds sporadically. A different technician was sent out and he said that he'll send in a report. We are still awaiting response from company. When we purchased fridge we were told that if any problem occur they would repair it or replace the fridge. Are they waiting for warranty to expire before helping us??
