Whirlpool -Oven Full of rust, inferior quality

I purchased a Whirlpool 5 burner gas stove and a side by side fridge freezer in 2015 from Hirches Springfield park Durban.

Worst buy ever made in my life time. Ever since I purchased these items I had endless problems. The technicians was at my house ever week, in the first 4 months of purchase. Eventually i returned the fridge freezer and purchased a Samsung. The Stove, I decided to live with.

Towards end of 2019, I noticed there was rust particles in the oven, the side brackets and pull out trays was rusting. The rust dropping was bad, I could not use it. Upon investigation, I notice , the bracket that was holding the element, was so badly rusted, that at a slight touch, rust was all over. I sent numerous emails to whirlpool, no response. Eventually I got a response from whirlpool London, directing me to Kic south Africa, last year, 2020.

No service from Kic. Mr Gensan advised that I purchase a new element, because the bracket is attached to the element as a cost of R3000.00 + vat + installation . It was the bracket rusting, there was no problem with the element I was told that the element last about 2 -3 years. To date the element works. Whirlpool is not in South Africa, Kic is suppose to give support. There is no service!!!

Throughout the years I had used other brands.It it the first time I have seen this in an oven full of rust, even the trays.

I will not recommend this brand. After approximately 4 years, I cannot use the oven. . Whirlpool dont come cheap. Kic does not give any service for whirlpool.

I will never purchase any whirlpool appliance again.
