Whirlpool is not a good brand to go with

Our freezer stopped working on a relatively new refrigerator. Whirlpool sent a technician who appeared visibly high, and did nothing but browse on his phone for the same solution that we tried from YouTube which did not work. (reset method). Then he proceeded to charge us $130 for nothing. I am posting my dissatisfaction about Whirlpool's products and services so that others do not have to go through this. It felt like a **** and the refrigerator is still not fixed and it is less than 5 years old. I have another brand refrigerator that is 35 years old and it is working fine. Whirlpool's customer service is lacking and it appears their technology is too. We feel like we have been taken advantage of.
