whirlpool doesn't care!!!

I purchased a 'Jet chef ' today at Makro Ottery,got home, opened the box to find the original plug top was removed and replaced with a cheap piece of junk.<br> Not only that, but it was fitted by an *********** ****** who does not care about the safety of the people purchasing and using the product.<br> The copper wire is exposed, posing a risk of shock and death, i can see LAW SUIT written all over this.<br> I am in shock and awe that the SABS has dropped their standards like this.<br> Maybe it's SABNS - South African Bureau of NO Standards.<br> So i guess nothing will come of until somebodies child dies because they shocked to death while WHIRLPOOL knew about the fault, and did nothing to rectify it.<br> Or somebodies house burns down killing its occupants.<br> Well when this happens, and they standing in court, i guess they cannot claim they had no knowledge of the problem.
