Whirlpool

My Whirlpool extractor fan has stopped working. I contacted Whirlpool and was told a technician would call me to make an appointment to see me. I received a call one random day saying that the technician is close to my house and asking if he can come over now. I asked why didn't they call me to make an appointment as agreed. I said I would leave my meeting and come home. When I arrived I found the technician and he had a look and said he need to get inside the appliance so I must remove the Whirlpool chimney that came with the appliance and which I presumed was to be fitted as well. He then said I should call him when the chimney has been removed on the number he called me from. I received a call from the Whirlpool call centre asking if the job was done. I asked them how am I supposed to remove the chimney myself that is installed and siliconed and grouted in. They said they would speak to the technician and call me back. Today, I receive another call asking if the technician has called me and i said no again. Please send another technician as the first one was not helpful at all.
