Poor product quality

I was looking for a good oven for baking and cooking so I invested in a 6th sense oven. Two and a half years later, the ovens regulator started acting up and is now damaged. I got a technician to come in and they want R5500.00 to fix the part. I mean there is a two year warranty, yes I understand that I was 6 months out. But how can one invest in an expensive oven and then it acts up and can't be used two and a half years down the line?

I called whirlpool, and they can't assist and technically said I need to pay R5500 to get in fixed.

Then whats the point of paying R5500? I rather get another brand that will have a long life span and a better service in assisting with such problems.

Im very disappointed.
