Glass oven door shatters

On Sunday after having used my Whirlpool oven to bake a bread, the window in my oven shattered. The oven had been turned off for about 5 mins. Contacted Whirlpool on Monday, and eventually on Tuesday a technician arrived to look at the damage and said he would order a new glass. I got a call on Tuesday afternoon to say nothing is available anywhere in the country so if I wish they can order me one from overseas and it will take about 10 days.....Of course I need my oven..so I said yes. Went onto the Whirlpool page on FB and lodged a complaint on Tuesday morning, at 15.30 got a message asking for my contact details. Wednesday morning at 9.00 they rep**** they would contact me shortly. at 15.40 I again sent a message on FB asking how long is "shortly". I then got a call about 30 mins later...just confirming what the technician had told me. I was very unhappy and made it very clear to the consultant that I actually felt like cancelling the deal and going to buy a new oven that will definately NOT be a Whirlpool., and all this is costing me R2000. She then said she would convvey my feeling to her manager.........To me this is not caring about your customer. Surely with a large company like Whirlpool one shouldn't have to wait 10 days for a rep[lacement or am I being unfair.

An update....I was contacted by the service manager to find out why I was unhappy. Repeated my story and he said it wasn't possible to take a door from another stove to help me out, but would see if he could prioritize my order. I just received a call to say there is nothing they can do so I have to just wait for the 10 workinhg days.
