False information given and bad after sales service

We installed our brand new whirlpool oven and hob when we built our home in 2011, a mere 6 years ago. At that time we paid around R6500 for the oven. Then a few months ago, the hinges on the oven door started failing and losing their spring to close properly, affecting the temperature in the oven of course. A short time after that the grill element stopped working as well. So when that happened I called whirlpool SA to log a callout for them to come repair. Over the phone I told the guy the oven model and serial number so they knew exactly which product I have, and I told him that the hinges need replacing and the grill element needs replacing too, he arranged for a service repair man to come around. The guy came around while I was out, he called me to come pay him the callout cash. I got home and he hands me a report saying that the hinges and grill element need replacing.. and an invoice for R550! No work was done.. Understand that they need to order the spares, fair enough, I paid him and he promised that the callout would be covered when he came back to install the spares. 2 weeks later I get an sms saying job complete. I call the customer service again and get told that NO spares are available for this model!! Discontinued! But I mustn't worry because they (whirlpool) will give me a loyalty discount on a new oven. I look at the prices of their new ovens and they are more R16,000 now! My mom-in-law works for appliance repairs in CT and got some info for us.. a few phone calls for the hinges in PTA and a grill brought up from TECSA in George, and we had our 'DISCONTINUED' spares ready to install. At R2500 and not R16,000 for a new one. So we call Robbie (service guy) to please come back and install. He very rudely responds that 3 months has lapsed so he won't install for the amount already paid and it will be a new callout amount! We arranged for another guy to install and working like new. DISGUSTED is an understatement!
