Disgusting Service - Whirlpool Head Office & The Repair Centre Queenstown !!!

Upon purchasing a Whirlpool front loader from Game, Nonesi Mall at a rather skeptical price, we asked all of the relevant questions such as whether this machine had been used and returned - to which we were assured the machine was new and in a working condition and the only reason for it’s affordable price was the fact that it had been discontinued. We consequently purchased the machine based on that assurance as well as the fact that Whirlpool is a trusted and reputable international brand.

Approximately a month after the purchase, a now problematic machine, began jumping about dramatically during the spin cycle. We reported the matter to Game of which we were referred directly to Whirlpool. Whirlpool in turn logged a complaint and we then received a very eager call from The Repair Centre in Queenstown, who then arranged for collection and collected on the agreed date. A few days thereafter the machine was returned to us, now in a worse state than it had left - vigorous jumping and added to that was leakage throughout the entire cycle.

We contacted The Repair Centre of which there was no answer. Numerous attempts were made to contact them thereafter but to no avail. We contacted Whirlpool and they then logged another complaint to The Repair Centre and within minutes we received a call asking if they may collect the machine (thinking it’s a new complaint) - yet when we tried contacting them we could not get through.

Also the front loader came back from the repairer full of dust and scratches!!! Upon inspecting the yard of the repairer i saw the clients goods standing outside not covered!!!See pictures attached!!! After all of this Whirlpool just refuses to replace the front loader after this *********** repairer the second time wrote out a report to them to replace.

After seeking assistance from Game’s store manager who assisted us in drafting emails to Whirlpool and kept us abreast of the progress, his final communication to the national manager of repairs for Whirlpool did not yield satisfactory results. The national manager of repairs reported that they were unwilling to replace the machine considering the manufacturing date is 2011 (whatever that has to do with the purchase) and due to the fact that it had been discontinued.

They now refusing to replace the washing machine that's not even 3 months old!!

We made contact to Whirlpool over and over but, No one wants to help!!!

Lastly, I dont even see the need why this was sent in for repair work with the item not purchase even 1 month ago!

I will never recommend them!!! What a waste in trusting such a big brand!!
