4 Months Appliance still not working

When I purchased my Whirlpool appliances I took a 5 year extended warranty. The lights blew on the Extractor fan. The technician said it was the transformer. Who knew Whirlpool does not keep those in stock. They ordered one which took 4 months to arrive in which time whirlpool closed the call 3 times. When it arrived(please note they only ordered ONE) it was faulty and gave the same problem as the old one. Now I have to wait another 4 months for the next one to arrive. This is the fantastic service you can expect from an extended warranty on Whirlpool appliances. My advice choose another product.
