A Rational Oven was advertised as "working condition unknown" (on auction) however the motherboard and other major parts are missing, which was not disclosed, therefore it was definitely not working and should have been advertised as such. We could see the side panel was missing from the pictures but we had no idea that major internal parts were missing, nobody would be able to ascertain that parts are missing unless you are a repair technician. So for WH to state that an in person viewing was not done, is a moot point. We were quoted over R200,000.00 to repair it, which is more than a new oven costs and we believe there has to be some “duty of care” in order that the items being sold are properly represented. The All Round Bun divider was not advertised as "not working" or "working condition unknown". It also requires a slew of parts amounting to R33,000.00. We paid for junk which should have been sent to the dump or sold for parts, this is not an honest way of doing business. Reported to SAIA, still awaiting feedback over a month later.
