Poor service - Bus broke down - Passengers stranded - Bad management - No refunds given

I would give a rating of 0. If you value your safety, do not travel with Wezwe for long distance travel. Their management is not at all helpful. Rather purchase a ticket for a safe bus. I bought a ticket to Cape Town on 6 Dec 22. Their were many issues. Bus left the station 2.5 hrs later. Fuel was filled from a tank on a bakkie and pumped in. The bus broke down three hours later in between Ventersdorp and Bloemfontein. No help from management. Passengers were all traumatised. Passengers had to hitch hike. We stayed on the bus that night. Had no food or facilities the next day. Lies were told by management after which he did not take my calls. Mechanic arrived at 4pm instead of in the morning. Found many problems with the bus. Could not fix it. As it was late again, we were told that we had to stay in the bus another night. Management still refused to take calls. Did not care about our safety. We got help from another Wezwe bus (NOT SENT BY MANAGEMENT). That bus was fully booked. So we had no choice but to sit on the floor. Woman and children in the bus and the men on the luggage compartment for 18 hours. Still no calls from management. Upon reaching Cape Town I went to the offices. Manager was called on his cell. He refused to refund ticket, was rude and cut the call. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH THEM.
