Deceptive sale of \leather\" couch"

When my Weylandts leather couch started peeling, I was shocked. It was sold as leather (witch does not peel) and I have the receipt to prove that. The couch is 9 years old, very well cared for and has minimal wear and tear. <br> <br> It turns out to be Bicast leather. A material made with a split leather backing covered with a layer of polyurethane (plastic). Not equal to conventional leather as it lacks the strength, breathability, and durability.<br> <br> Not expecting this kind of deception from Weylandts, I contacted them. I was informed that they would offer me no form of assistance, by Mandi du Preez (Customer Care Manager), and Brad Westaway (Director). <br> <br> I also found an article of another Weylandts customer that had the same problem [URL Removed] He was offer assistance for his 7 year old couch. What a difference 2 years makes. In this article Westaway admitted :\customers need to be aware of its make-up in order to make an informed decision.\" <br> <br> I was never given the chance to make that informed decision, due to their deliberate misrepresentation.
