Do not book Wex 1 - Room 528 - Cape Town

My wife and i booked a delux apartment at this establishment on the 28th February 2034, room 528

On checking in we experience a number of issues which we took up with the management agent that was overseeing the booking.

There are the issues that we expirienced:

1. There was nothing delux about the apartment. It seems like a normal standard apartment.

2. There was no pool with a view .No private entrance which are all the things that were promised by the managing agency.

3.The fridge was falling apart and was literally slanting to to left.

4.There was no air conditioning but a sub standard fan which was dirty and was falling Anouther aspect that was omitted to be mentioned.

5. The room was dirty and was visible that it wasn’t cleaned or maintained properly.

6. There was a sewerage issue in the bathroom where the shower and toilet was. On entering , there was an overwhelming smell of faece. When we alerted the managing agent, they said there would ask maintainance to look at it but no one came. We were forced to bath in a room that smelled of faeces as we had no choice.

7. The iron in the room was not working and there was no ironing board. Anouther aspect that was not mentioned. Again we contacted the managing agent and was told that the room does not come with an ironing board and that i should go to the reception to complain about the iron

8. The linen provided was dirty and had a smell and unfortunately we were forced to sleep on them as there was no additional linen provided and they refused to move us into a decent apartment

In conclusion , I must say that our stay in this apartment was horrible and inhumane based on the boarding conditions we wee subjected too as we had no choice but to stay in the apartment

The managing agent was extremely rude as well when dealing with our complaint and not even once they showed any sympathy or emphathy or even taking any responsibility.

This apartment should not be on booking.vom or any other Accomodation platform
