DO NOT USE WET PUPMS (PTY) LTD

We installed a heat pump through Wet Pumps (Pty) Ltd who were happy to take our money up front, but of ABSOLUTELY NO assistance when the unit broke down (a few days out of the 1 year warranty period). <br> The unit was repaired by the manufacturers free of charge (as an in warranty repair), but Wet Pumps would not return our unit without us paying a R1700.00 re-installation fee! We paid and they reinstalled, only for us to discover that we were receiving no energy savings and thus no cost savings on electricity (which is the very reason for installing the unit). A representative of the manufacturers of the unit most willingly came out to look at the unit, only for us to be told that the installation of the unit (done by Wet Pumps and their contractors) was so poor (not to SANS or manufacturer standards) that the unit would not be guaranteed, nor would we ever receive the full energy efficiencies. We went back to Wendy, the owner of Wet Pumps, and she accepted absolutely no liability what so ever and rather chose to point fingers.
