Extremely Poor Service from Westvaal VW Lichtenburg and Volkswagen SA

I am extremely disappointed with the shocking lack of service and professionalism received from both Westvaal VW Lichtenburg and Volkswagen South Africa.

My vehicle has had an unresolved air conditioning issue for an extended period. Despite four separate repair attempts, the fault — a leaking evaporator — was only identified after months of inconvenience and frustration. Diagnosing and repairing a basic air conditioning system should not require multiple failed attempts, especially from a brand like Volkswagen.

Even worse, Westvaal VW Lichtenburg made no real effort to keep me updated throughout the process. I was left chasing updates and receiving vague responses, showing a complete disregard for customer service.

After escalating the matter to Volkswagen South Africa, I expected a professional and urgent resolution. Instead, I encountered the same poor communication, lack of accountability, and no meaningful action.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing and reflects very poorly on both the dealership and the Volkswagen brand. I expected far better support, transparency, and efficiency.
