Warranty states items but did not pay all
Good Day

I bought a Jeep Compass 2008 at GM Motors second hand branch in Polokwane beginning of April and it had 77700 km on the clock. On Saturday the 6th June the car broke down 30km from Pretoria. After a issue to get the car towed to the nearest service station. On Friday the 12 June the Service Agent at Mcarthy in Brooklyn gave us the shocking news. The Alternator, Fan belt and pulleys broke and the total cost is R12595.80 and of which the Warranty will only pay R5500.00. This was terrible news, because the Alternator and the fan belt is mentioned on the warranty . I was told by the finance guy at GM motors that the Warranty only pays the highest of the one that breaks if more than one item goes. How is this in my control if one or two things breaks. This fact is not on the contract that i signed when I bought the warranty. My question is, are the warranty people pulling wool over my eyes and is there not some kind of protection for me. The car is not even 3 months old and all-ready I had major expenses. I need advise and help.
