Never in my life westvaal again!!!!!!!

19 May 2016

Dear Mr Jan Ranalana

On 31 August 2015 last year I bought a Isuzu Club Cab, 2011 Model at Westvaal Witrivier.

Within the first week after they delivered the vehicle, I contacted the salesperson, Jaco,
reason being that the back of the vehicle was loose, and some bolts were missing.

I took the vehicle back to Westvaal Witrivier, and they sent the vehicle to a panel beater for
2 weeks. After I got the vehicle back it was even worse. Again they sent the vehicle to the panel beaters for another 3 weeks. When I got the vehicle back the problem was still not solved.

The vehicle was with me for 1 week and due to my work I've got a company vehicle to use during the week. The Sunday I go to church with my vehicle and on the way back, not even 25 km after the vehicle came back from the panel beaters, the vehicle just cut out.

I contacted Jaco about this and on the Monday they came to fetch the vehicle with a low bed.

According to the mechanical department of Westvaal they said that the vehicle is now fixed.
Went to fetch the vehicle and drove about 30 km and again the vehicle cut out.

Phoned once again and the mechanics came to tow the vehicle, this time with a rope, which they then started while towing the vehicle.
On the way back to Witrivier the vehicle once again cut out.

Westvaal gave me a temporary vehicle to drive with, but there was no spare wheel. I inquired about there not being a spare wheel and they gave me another vehicle, but this time the license disk is expired on the same day.
They would still sort it out, they said. Upon till today I am still driving with the temporary vehicle with a license disk that has expired last year, 2015, already.

In the meantime I phoned numerous times about my vehicle where there would only be a lot of excuses from Jaco's side.
Then to phone again and find out that Jaco is no longer working there, and had to explain the whole story to a new manager which was now Pierre. I told Pierre that I did not want that vehicle back and I'm looking for another vehicle. He said that there is another vehicle I should come in to look at the vehicle.

When I arrived the vehicle was not there as one of his colleagues was driving the vehicle for the day.
Pierre advised me to come back the next day. Upon my arrival I was stunned to find out only now that Pierre is also no longer working at Westvaal.

Both the salesperson and the manager now gone without a word, without any feedback.
Once again I am left in the dark with no answers.

I went to a First Hand Dealership, Isuzu them selves and explained the whole situation with the manger.
He said that it was the best thing to come in and tell the whole story face to face, he promises to sort everything out.

I phoned numerous times after that, still no answer.
No answer on my vehicle and no answer still about the license disk that’s expired on the temporary vehicle since the day the vehicle was given to me..

From day 1 that vehicle was the one problem after the other.
It has been 9 months that I am paying for a vehicle I don’t have, and that I don’t want!
In this period of 9 months I think I had the vehicle for only 5 weeks and the maximum kilometers
I drove with that vehicle was 500.

Westvaal Witrivier gave me a vehicle that is in a terrible condition, with the worst service I have ever experienced, and I am shocked about the way things are done by them.

I demand that you take the vehicle back and off my name and all the payments I’ve made to be paid back to me.

PLEASE RESPOND A.S.A.P

Regards,
Pieter Breytenbach
********** 558
Reply
