Car not returned for 7 weeks

My Chev Orlando was transported to Westvaal for repair on 4 June 2017. Approval was granted by Eqstra for repair on 11 July. The service consultant confirmed on 14 July (Friday) that the repair was done but there were noises heard during the test drive and the vehicle will be further inspected on 17 July. The same feedback was provided 2 weeks later. For the last 3 weeks the feedback is that the Westvaal is awaiting a quote from another company for repair of the gearbox. On 11 August, my husband was told by the service foreman that the car should be ready by today. Today he was told that the quote has not yet been received and that I can collect a Chev Cruz to drive in the interim as it is all that is available.

Note the following: - Westvaal have not been contacting us to provide feedback. My husband and I have been initiating all contact. - The service consultant is loud and abrupt. She does not return my calls when I leave my number at reception and displays extreme irritation when I call for feedback. She even screamed at me on 14 July and accused me of screaming at her when she couldn't provide answers. - The 2 points above prove lack of customer service ability. - Eqstra are not aware that the car is still at Westvaal and that any additional repair is needed. - How long do Westvaal take to obtain a quote from another company? Verification needs to be done to confirm date of initial request and follow up since then, and reasons why another service provider has not been contacted after a minimum number of days of no response from the first company. - The duration of time taken to conduct the repairs have caused my family and I tremendous inconvenience and additional costs and yet we are expected to remain calm and wait indefinitely for return of a vehicle that we are paying for. - The offer of the Cruz after 7 weeks without a car is not at all going to relieve the situation. Firstly the car is a five seater and will not accommodate my family. Secondly, I will have to make transport arrangements to travel 200kms to collect a vehicle that is not even going to be suitable for our needs.
