Took my blinds for adjustment and have not returned it months later

I am so disgusted at this company, particularly one of their sales people, Gerhard Loubser at their Cape Town branch. A few months ago, we requested them to come over to take measurements and provide us with a quote for blinds in our lounge and dining area. Whilst here, we showed him our bathroom blind which is fairly new (and manufactured by them) - so this blind no longer fitted the bathroom window due to the fact that we re-tiled the bathroom and the new tile is slightly thicker, making the bathroom blinds a tad too big. It just needed to be trimmed down slightly and refitted. He took it with him and promised to have the slight amendment done in the factory. So we get the quote from them for the lounge/dining area, but we decided to put the new blinds on hold for a bit, as we are still renovating and it just makes sense for the blinds to go on last.

But the beauty part is that this guy Gerhard, took the bathroom blind and does not seem to want to return it, it's literally been months! I contacted him and he said its in the factory he will check. I've given him another week to revert and he hasn't. When I message him, I don't get a reply. He simply ignores my messages. So this huge company, took a persons blinds to alter and now just doesn't bother to return it??

I can't imagine giving my business to these people. They've taken my property and they just ignore my calls. If you can't fix it, just give I back. I paid for those blinds and they are new. How disgusting for a businessman like Gerhard Loubser to behave in this manner.
