Claim not paid out for ****** vehicle

i would not recommend Tuffstuff/Ream Insurance Brokers to anyone who wants insurance to cover you against theft. They look for any reason not to pay out. I was in the unfortunate position to have lost my vehicle through theft. After lodging the claim they told me that i had to make a claim within 6 hours after the incident and they REFUSED to pay me out for my ****** vehicle. I took it further to the Ombudsman and the Ombudsman told them that their endor*****ts on the policy is unclear and they cannot fail to pay out on that reason of claim within 6 hours. They STILL refused to pay saying that i was neglect on going to report the ****** vehicle to the SAPS even though the rest of the policy says that i must report within 24 hours after the incident (which i did within 18 hours). i am on the verge of losing everything because of this claim that was not settled.

Furthermore i struggled to get new insurance because they cancelled me because of high risk after the theft of my vehicle. One of the reasons i struggled to get new insurance and pay a hell of a lot now for new insurance is because Ream Insurance Brokers never did follow ups on claims where 3rd party persons was the reasons for accidents i was in. To today almost 3 years later the claims have not been removed from my name which i think is pretty pathetic from a broker's point of view.

If you want to sleep sound at night i would recommend you stay away from this broker and insurer.
