Geelbek restaurant Westcoast nature reserve Covid 19 friendly

What an absolute disappointment when visiting this restaurant yesterday! This was our first family eat out since the lock down in March. We waited for an hour for our food, and for six people, two persons in our group received their food first. The chips was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The next two orders arrived 10 minutes later. After another 10 minutes another plate arrived. Everyone was done eating when the 6th person plate arrived as well as the chips that was sent back to the kitchen. Chips was this time around hot, but cooked crispy and brown, quite inedible. Food was not great for the price we had to pay. Venturing out to a restaurant amid the covid 19 pandemic was already a risk we took and finding the bathrooms in an unhygienic state made us sorry that we tried out this restaurant. This restaurant is not up to standard in combating the spread of the virus. Our first try to support the hospitality industry to get back on their feet was a total disaster and we will rather create ways to eat at home again from now on. I will strongly recommend that people do not eat at the geelbek restaurant if they visit the Westcoast nature reserve. Food and service and hygiene is very bad.
