Booking disappears and no feedback!

I called the hotel a month back to make a lunch reservation for the 24th of January which I honored, as well as a reservation for dinner on valentines day. The lady I spoke to told me that the plans for the 14th have not been confirmed yet, however she will secure my booking and call me at a later stage to let me know exactly what the Valentines dinner plans are. To my surprise, I received zero communication from them. Today I decide to call and check that my booking is still there and to find out what the plans are for that evening. The gentleman, whom was on the phone when I called, called me back to inform me that I do not have a booking anymore. I am annoyed and frankly ****ed off at this situation, especially for the mere fact that I was the one who had to call in only to find out I do not have a booking.
