WATER LOSS LEVY IS A FARCE

We (NEGRI FAMILY TRUST) were asked if we required an insurance against water leaks when we opened our Ethekweni municipal account, which we accepted. Before we even took occupation of our house, there was a water leak. In fact, we were touring in America at the time. In my conservative calculation, the leak cost us approximately R22,500.00. We were eventually paid out - after fighting for 6 months - a grand total of R3,807.89. This amount just appeared on our bill with no explanation as to how it was calculated. <br> <br> Listening to others in the area, this seems to be the norm. The insured never receives an adequate compensation. <br> <br> I HAVE NOW CANCELLED MY PREMIUM.
