Dangerous Accomodation venue: Westbrook Beach Lodge.

There is absolutely no security at the Westbrook Beach Lodge. Intuders entered our Unit Number 5 at 03h00 on 05 May 2019 and ****** us at gunpoint. The stable style door can be easily opened by forcing the bottom door. I proved this to the owner Lydia Ward and the so called house boy Cashen. It wad a terrifying experience and we are very lucky to be unharmed.

We lost a laptop with 2 x extetnal hardrives with all my personal work spanning 30 years, 3 x cellphones and my wifes handbag with all her documents and R500. We are traumatised as a result of this horrifying experience. I want to warn other people to be careful when using this venue. It has no security whatsover. The gate remains open 24 hours a day. A holiday accomodation should have 24 hour security for its patrons safety. Crime will become more fatal at the Westbrook Beach Lodge if the security is not beefed up to the correct standard. Accomodation service websites should not recommend this venue until the security is upgraded. The perimeter fence must be upgraded to pallisade fencing. There should be an access controlled gate. There must be a 24 hour security service. There must be survellience cameras.
