Promises Promises

In the past I received great service from West Rand Panel Beaters, but unfortunately I cannot say the same this time around. My (then 4 month old) vehicle was hit by hail in October & they could only take it in in November to be repaired. I explained that I needed my vehicle by a certain time as we had to travel to Namibia with my vehicle. Needless to say it was not ready. We had to book flights which now cost us extra, but nevertheless. Hoping to get my vehicle back when we came home they never touched it as they knew we were not in the country for almost 2 weeks. When I was told to eventually collect my vehicle I had to leave it there over & over again as not all the hail damage was repaired. Eventually when that was sorted they scratched the panels on the inside of my car which they said they would replace. When you phone the people you speak to only make you promises & excuses. I know my car is new & the parts have to be ordered, but when I bought my car the dealer had to replace a front panel for me & it took 6 weeks to receive it all the way from India. So the back panels I am waiting for that they have been ordering, then forgot, then got lost, then I don't know what else has been taking them a year now. I asked them numerous times to order it from the dealer direct then they tell me they take long. Well 6 weeks is a hell of a lot better than 1 year or am I missing something. Needless to say when you phone no one is ever available to speak to you or they just never phone you back. This has been an ongoing story for a year now. Mark the owner gave me his number & promised me that he would sort it out himself. Well after a couple of messages & no joy he is also now not responding on my whats apps anymore & also not taking my calls. Well done West Rand Panel Beaters, I might only be 1 client that you will never see again as I know you think it is not a lot, but I can promise you this. All the people that I have ever referred to you in the past & people I've been involved with in the insurance industry will definitely hear a different story from me from now on. I hope you sleep well at night knowing how many people you have done in & whilst you are reaping all the fruit right now, just remember that the wheel turns, maybe very slowly, but it turns.
