Westpack Lifestyle Woodmead not accepting return of defective goods

I bought plastic hangers at Westpack Lifestyle Woodmead and more than 90% of them broke within a month of purchase. When I went to return them today, they said they can’t assist without a slip, when there are identical hangers there on the floor shop. I’m very disappointed in the quality of the product, as well as the fact that I was not assisted with a return for a defective product that is clearly offered by the shop.
