Appalling service from Westpack Express Norkem Corner

I am a self employed professional living in the kempton park area. On Friday 05/08/2022, as I was working I ran out highlighters, so I went to buy one at Westpack Norkem Corner (known as Westpack Express Norkem Park). I normally buy at my local pick n pay but they did not have the colour I wanted, so I resorted to Westpack in Norkem Norkem corner. Goodness me! I wish I hadn't! After getting back to my office to complete urgent invoices I realized that the highlighter was not working at all. After testing it out for a while I decided to take it back (Cringing at the fact that I'm burning much needed fuel and time wasted for a fault that's not mine). When I got there I requested to speak to the manager, and a gentleman by the name Donald informed me that he is the manager. I explained to him how inconvenienced I felt by the this situation, considering i have incureed an unnecessary addintional expense by driving with my fuel to have this rectified and on the other hand i'm running behind on my work, incoviniencing suppliers i work with. I asked that this be remedied by replacing the one not working and compensate me with an extra one for the inconvenience rendered to me (as if that's the worst recourse I could have demanded). The Manager, Donald, did not even apologize for the whole debacle, instead layed the blame on me by insisting that I should asked to test it. I asked him: "Who goes to the shop expecting what they want to buy to not work?". The other shops I buy at do not expect that from me. He went on to say where have you seen customers get stuff for free, in a tone that suggested that I'm being a nuisance. I could not beleive the arrogance. That's when I lost and started making a scene about how I am going to make this bigger than what is it. The fact that a whole manager could not even be professional about a simple grievance regarding a highlighter, it showed me that this is not a store me and my family should deal with. What's worse, he did not even want to give me information on who his superior is so that I can complain to them, which told me that he did not think much of me and the inconvenience their store has caused me. Long and short of it, I'm done with Wesptack Norkem Corner.
