Harassment and *****ing of cellphone at Wedt Pack Horizon Shopping Center

Please be very careful it is not safe to shop at the Westpack Horizon Shopping Centrei in Roodepoort. Where I had the most terrible and harassed experience at 13h49 on Saturday 29 Julie 2023.

I parked infront of the shop and workers standing in a row at the entrance actually blocking the products I wanted to buy. When I moved around the isles that is so narrow and difficult to see the prices. I have asked a worker to please check a price for me. I moved into the house utilities row. When a black person with a black trouser on harassed me with his empty trolley from the front and bumped my trolley and said I must move to the right. I asked quite hard why don't you pass me on the right side. No I want something on your left.. I asked. Don't you now traffic rules to keep left. Then I feel an empty trolley bumped me from the back without asking anything or excuse me. The guy in front bumped me again, I then did not feel safe I try to move to the rigt. Then he on purpose also moved to my right and bumped me. The person from my back also bumped me and my trolley. This action bumping me left and right repeated and then I said loud move backwards that I can just can come out of this shop. He then moved backwards and I went straight to the till, the lady behind the till must have seen what was going on, because the till face that row were I was harassed for quite a time. I was complaining hard that the ilsles are so narrow that two trolleys can not pass one another

When I unpacked my shopping I was so irritated for what happened and that no one assisted me. I could not see the amounts of the goods, asking why not. Then the lady took my stuff and moved more to the entrance till. When I pushed my trolley to the entrance I saw the same black man speaking to the white guy standing talking to workers at the entrance, not far from the isle where I was harassed.

When I paid I did not hear my phone sending a sms or on my watch that is connected to me phone. I was so upset that I walked to my car and checked and saw my phone is not in my bag, I pressed Find Phone on my watch and it showed disconnected. Then I let the carguard unpack my trolley and went back into the Westpack shop. Complaning my phone was taken out of my bag. Then I realized the White guy that was standing there is the Manager. I explained to him that I suspect the black guy with the black top on that was talking to him who bumped me a few times, knows what happened. The manager asked wasn't it a navy top. No.

The Manager then took my Personal Details and gave me the shops Details. Saying, that there is cameras everywhere but that it will take a few days for the footages becsuse Head Office must ckecked it...........?? How can any shop catch shop lifters immediately with this arrangement?? My camera at home show the images immediately!!

As I walked out I realized the black guy with the black top on, had a helper at my back bumping me (working together) and my handbag was hanging on my left. That is why he insisted to pass me on my left side, distracting me from the front while the other one was in my handbag from the back.

Also that they knew the isles are narrow and trolleys find it difficult to pass one another. Wondering........ was this the first time this happened in this terrible shopping layout??
