Took our money and blocked us.

We booked this photographer for our South African as recommended by our wedding planner as she was friends with him and could vouch for him and we liked his style. Unfortunately our planning came to a halt with COVID but Wesley and all our vendors happily kept to their agreements for our new date.

Things got a bit strange when a few months before our wedding Wesley decided to move to Australia but guaranteed us that he will still attend ours and all other booked weddings in SA.

4 weeks before our wedding Wesley told us he could no longer photograph our wedding. He broke his contract by retaining our deposit of thousands as he “didn’t have the money to pay it back”, sent us very horrible emails and then blocked us on all social media.

A few years on after the most incredible wedding and a new and even more amazing photographer stepping in last minute, this incident still leaves a very bitter taste in our mouths.

It’s been enough time for Wesley to recuperate and pay back the money he took from us. But we still haven’t heard from him.
