Wrongfully Charged

Hi All, So last year April i gave birth in Hibiscus Hospital. The medical aid paid for everything my doctor at that time was Dr Charlene Maistry. So later that day after theater Dr Sean Thorncroft came and gave me stockings to wear, he then advised me to take them off after 24hrs then he left. I had no problem cause i thought they were part of the hospital plan, but a few days ago i've been recieving texts that i owe R1175 for stockings and i thought no maybe it's some ****. Then they called me to pay up and i am confused cause no one told me that those socks where charged separately. When i called my Dr Charlen Maistry she said she doesn't want to be involved in other people's payments. No one told me anything about extra payments, they waited for a good 10 months before they charge me. I am confused and they threatening to blacklist me if i don't pay. Why was i not told about these socks or given an option to choose weather i want them or Not.
