Terrible working conditions
I'm working at this company as a truck driver it has +-50 code14 drivers and 90% of the drivers are from Zimbabwe. At this company no driver gets a payslip, not registered with Bargaining Council, SARS, labour and other relevant offices.
Our contracts states that we get paid 6% commission on loads, 1 1/2 off days/week and an annual leave of 21days that doesn't happen. Our commission (6%) is calculated by Werner's wife who then forwards to Werner and with no reason decides who gets paid what. He then forwards to his mother who does the payments and on the 10th of each month you just receive an sms from your bank of your salary. When you go to the office to enquire about the salary you get an edited payslip.
As drivers we're supposed to be getting money for safe parking, night out allowance but we don't instead if anything is ****** or damaged from the truck or load the driver is liable and money will again be deducted from your salary.
Last year in October an anonymous report was made to Bargaining Council and labour of which they came but up to now nothing has been done, the working conditions are still the same . I wish to remain anonymous as I'm still working there
