Abuse of power and position.

The Wendywood Sports Center management is so *******. We've complained to all the relevant people and departments until we sent the case to Ombudsman. We came up with an idea to open a container gym and they gave us a desolated tennis court. It was damage and so much underused. They want us to pay R5000 a month for the same court of which we had to spend a lot of money fixing it. We started in November and by March it was lockdown. When we were supposed to open on level 1 they wanted us yo pay them R25 000 cash. We told them we don't have that kind of money we are from lockdown no one was working. Since then they have been ill treating us. The community comes there and gym and it's an outdoor gym. When it rains they make sure they lock all the halls and buildings so we do not have access to train people in them. The facility is for the community under the municipality, why then do they want us to bribe them to use it. We are also part of the community. They have been fabricating stories and bring people to chase us out of the sports club. A guy called Rams who is apparently the manager has been threatening my husband saying he has a lot of money and he is declaring war against him. He says he will confiscate our container. We have brought life in that place and a lot of community members are starting to utilize it. These are government workers who are to serve the people but they want us to pay them a large sum of money to help the community stay healthy. Right there has been a bust pipe and they are doing nothing about it. Since last week Tuesday until now. Water has been wasted.
