Quote received for R25000.00. Paid R10000.00 deposit and supplier promised to commence job within the next week. Numerous messages and telephone calls were made to them as they did not keep to their commitments as promised. They eventually delivered part of the material, then requested for more money to buy material which I refused to give them until they completed the job. When they eventually commenced with the job, sub standard timber was used which resulted in uneven surfaces. When the wendy was completed, it was insecure and not supported well making it rather dangerous and unstable. The work was completed at 8 in the evening on Sunday night and I was pressurised to pay the balance without being given the opportunity to inspect the job. I reported that the roof was leaking when it rained 2 days later. They acknowledged the problem but did not commit to a date when they will be coming out to fix the problem,. It seems that they have issued a meaningless 5 year guarantee . Their workmanship is sub standard and they gave me the run around. They do not seem to take pride in the work that they deliver. I would definitely not recommend this supplier to anyone as they are unreliable.
