R8,500 Deposit Paid – No Wendy House, No Refund
Title: On 3 February 2026, I paid Heine Thiart a deposit of R8,500 for a Wendy house. For approximately 4½ months, I received various reasons why the project was delayed. Throughout this period, I was the person who had to initiate contact and request updates. I have WhatsApp messages reflecting these communications. The project never commenced on my property, and no materials were ever delivered. Two days before the intended start date, I cancelled the project because my neighbour objected to the planned location of the Wendy house against the boundary fence. Since then, I have not received a refund of my deposit. I am particularly disappointed that I was consistently required to follow up myself and that communication from the supplier became extremely limited after the cancellation. I have proof of payment of the R8,500 deposit and records of my communications regarding the matter. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service provider and would like this matter resolved through the return of my deposit.
