Full Payment is insisted on

I received a quote and they insisted on payment that same day to avoid me losing out on a "special" that they are having. They insist on full payment as well. I requested if it would be possible for them to accept cash on delivery but they declined. I then asked if I could drop off the cash- again they declined. It just didnt sit right with me so I decided not to go ahead with the order. If someone really wants your business, surely a deposit or cash on delivery can be arranged...
