DO NOT TRUST WENDY FACTORY IN EDENVALE - NO INTEGRITY

In our opinion, WENDY FACTORY in Edenvale is a company without integrity or honour. Dealing with them has been the worst decision we every made.

When Wendy Factory sends a quote it is accompanied by 4 pages of small print warranty clauses. It covers every single after sale, poor service recourse!

We got told that stilts would be erected and a few days later, the wendy hut built so that the cement could dry. Skew and unlevelled stilts were installed and even after us raising this concern, it was ignored and we were assured all would be fine. Without waiting for the initially stipulated days for the cemented stilts to settle, the wendy hut was put up the very next day.

Within a week, the hut started sagging. One of the hut corners had sunk considerably. On phoning Lee, we were requested to send photos. Absolutely no feedback was received, messages were not returned, phone calls unanswered. After some 2 weeks Lee sent a message: “the warranty does not cover ground erosion. A call out quote would be sent and if the cost was accepted, a team would come through to have a look at the problem.”

How does Wendy Factory determine ground erosion just 2 weeks after erecting the Wendy Hut in perfect weather without even assessing their installation?

After sales service is NOT existent, staff are rude and obnoxious! Their website and adverti*****ts are false!

Prospective buyers PLEASE be aware and consider the numerous bad reviews that have been published about this company. Go elsewhere if you’re looking for quality!
