Security at Wembley Road House ???

Attention to anybody who supports Wembley Roadhouse in Belgravia Road Athlone.

I just had more than R 2 000 (two thousand rands) worth of meat ****** out of my daughter"s car at the Wembley Roadhouse designated parking in front of their toilets.

I reported matter immediately to the security guard and to the manager,who was not very helpful. My daughter bought the meat & delicacies at the Wembley Meat Market for us for Eid ul Adha. Both my wife and I are unemployed Tourist Guides who last earned money in March 2020. Our daughters are seeing to our needs for food, etc.

I want to warn customers that the security guards at Wembley are not watching the cars and customers. Apparently a car was hijacked yesterday from one of their designated parking areas. There are lots of beggars who virtually attack you for money when you get out of your car.

We have been supporting the Wembley Roadhouse for more than 40 (forty) years and the Wembley Meat Market for the past three years. I am sure the management can do more for the safety of customers and their cars. It is difficult times, but business owners wants public to support them. I will not be supporting any of the Wembley Group of shops any longer.

I hope the people who will be buying the meat & delicacies from the ********* are deserving people and not someone looking for a "bargain".

NB: I have just been informed telephonically by management that they decided to remove the security cameras from that section in front of the toilets. No warning signs to warn customers that no cameras are available.
