Unhelpful staff

I made a purchase at Menlyn Maine branch, and while doing so I enquired about when there will be new stock on an item I saw was out of stock.

I'm not sure if the two staff members were offended that I accidentally gave them the wrong loyalty card, or maybe the franchising for this store works differently, but they just looked at me like I was being inappropriate. The answer I got was 'we'll have to wait and see'. No offer to call another branch to check availability, just a blank stare. Not the kind of service you'd expect from a store that sets itself apart from the rest.
