Highly Dissapointed!

In August 2022 we contacted Welkom Appliance Repairs regarding repair of the leak on our Defy dishwasher. On the 29th of August 2022 they collected the machine from our home in Bothaville. Upon collection I noticed that the technician that collected the machine did not cover it or tie it to the back of his bakkie. I immediately asked if this will not be done as I have looked after the dishwasher and knew that there were neither scratches nor any dents on the machine. The technician did not even answer me on my question and just proceeded to load and left the premises shortly after. About two weeks passed and I received no feedback regarding the leak on the bottom of the door when the machine is in rinse mode. I contacted Welkom Appliance Repairs numerous times before I got hold of the owner. I asked him why I have not received any feedback on the machine whereupon his reply was that they have yet to sort the problem, and if this was a concern to me I am more than welcome to collect my machine as is. Now I don’t know about any other person who would send their machine for repairs and then not have it repaired because the customer had to call time and again for any feedback? I was taken aback from the hostility of the owner but asked him kindly to please try and repair my machine, as this is why I sent it there in the first place. Two months passed after the last conversation and again no feedback or communication received from them. Once again I called for feedback where the owner then stated that he had four technicians working on the machine and that they just cannot seem to fix the leak. We collected the dishwasher from them on the 31st of January 2023 – five months later! I was shocked at the state of my machine on collection; there were multiple scratches and an ugly dent on the bottom of the dishwasher. I am sure that the machine supp**** back to me is not the same machine I gave them, the dishwasher looks second hand to say the least. I have since tried to contact the owner regarding this matter but to no avail. I leave messages at the reception but receive no call or message back? I am very disappointed in the way Welkom Appliance Repairs do business.
