In need of my security deposit.

I resided at Legit International House from 01/09/2017, and I moved out on the 06/05/2020.Of which I served a notice to vacate on 31/03/2020 online as per the procedure.As I was no longer having an income.I couldnt afford the rent anymore.I submited as well my proof of bank account for the refund of the security deposit.I had been communicating with Maureen Ntsako Hlungwane in emails.She did not allow me to vacate,She promised me that she will propose to her bosses for a lesser payment. Which she never gave me any feedback. I spoke to one of the building managers,of which he released me saying theres no need for her to keep me when I have no money to pay,is then I moved out late on the 6th instead of the 30th April.I waited for my refund in 30 days, as I have left their unit clean and everything that I have found in there the way it was.Instead Maureen kept on billing me,even when I'm no longer staying there.After realizing that I'm not being refunded and 30 days ended a while.I had to ask to reinstate my lease,cos I have a small hustle that at least I can pay my rent,They needed my new application with 3 payslips of which I underrood.Because I have not been working since 2019,I then explained that I dont have those payslips,then because necessary requirements I don't have,I then asked for my refund.Now that I'm asking for my refund Maureen is not responding my emails,but with the same deposit that I'm not being refunded, according to them it is actually possible for me to reinstate my lease, only by applying afresh.I can't get hold of their office on their landline..Im feeling helpless. It is very strange that I can be allowed to reinstate my lease,but I cannot be refunded.I feel like its not fair for them to even wait for me to ask for the refund.The same unit its already occupied but I'm still not refunded.I feel like its unfair for all this.Why is that when a person move out there should struggles.I just need my deposit that can be refunded thats all.
